Occupational therapists in schools assist students with primarily sensory and motor difficulties to be successful in the classroom. Referrals are usually generated by a parent or teacher who note children having motor difficulties, typically with handwriting, or sensory difficulties which make it hard to sit still and pay attention.
After testing, if a student is eligible, they may receive services either as direct instrutction, or by consultation with teachers, other staff or parents.

Services are available Monday through Thursday.
